There are seven statements recorded in John’s Gospel where Jesus describes himself as “I am…”. He’s harking back to God describing Himself as “I AM who I AM to Moses in Exodus 3, but this series also has many great lessons for life today. We added one extra to the list, where Jesus describes himself as “I am the First and the Last” at the start of the book of Revelation, also written by John.
