Why Christianity?

Finding real freedomCurious about Christianity?
Know the name, but little else?
Thought only the daft or the certifiable can believe in God?
Think you know what Christianity is all about and have discounted it as irrelevant?
Unsatisfied by the thought that there is absolutely no meaning to life, that we’re all a cosmic accident?
Like the idea of Jesus as a teacher of moral truth, but can’t see why he’s relevant today?
Think it is more irrational to believe the cosmos was created by God than it came into being from nothing by pure chance?

If any of these questions strike a chord, then why not come along to “Why Christianity?” at the Crown Pub, Knaphill, and be open to explore new possibilities.

At the Crown Pub, Knaphill High Street, Knaphill.

Sunday Nov 6th – 4 until 5 pm – Is belief in God rational?
Sunday Nov 13th – 4 until 5 pm – Can we know God personally?
Sunday Nov 20th – 4 until 5 pm – Why Jesus?
Sunday Nov 27th – 4 until 5 pm – What is the Bible?
Sunday Dec 4th – 4 until 5 pm – What is a Christian?

“Why Christianity?” at the Crown is a space in which the curious can explore these and other subjects around the Christian faith in relaxed conversational way.  Running over five Sunday afternoon sessions it will allow anyone to come and explore and ask any question as each session will commence with a brief introductory talk on an issue and then be open to discussion and debate.  Therefore, the direction each of the sessions take will largely depend upon the questions you want to ask!
